I met a man named Jon in October 2023 on Facebook Dating. He has over a half dozen Facebook accounts with variations of his real name, John and Jon, including using his middle name (Kyle) and last name. The same is true for his LinkedIn accounts.
From the beginning, he impersonated a cardiac surgeon. John stayed at my home for the two months of July and August 2024. He claimed he had a lot of money from his job and inheritance and needed a place to stay while he looked to buy an estate home in Portland, Oregon, and surrounding areas. I discovered he is not a doctor; he claimed he was an MD/PHD, having gone to boarding schools and college in England. He illegally provided three prescriptions in bottles to me with the identification of the patient information removed. He was impersonating a doctor, he had a prescription pad, and he was getting drugs prescribed for him and other people.
He not only conned/scammed his way into my home for a place to stay but conned/stole from me a gold diamond bracelet, a Gucci belt, and numerous items of clothing which he owed me money from my resale business.
Some of the other lies he told were he said he was married to a first wife – also a doctor, and a second wife, porn star half his age. I believe he floats from home to home with any couch surfing he can get.
Upon review of a paid background report, he has also been convicted on three counts of cyberstalking.
Distinctly noticeable is half his bottom teeth are missing.
He is from and spends a lot of time in Vancouver/Camas, as well as Portland, OR, and surrounding areas.
