Dated for 2 months. Twice he would slowly pull back until he ghosted me week 6/7. I called him out and he said he was having issues. I met with him to discuss as we both invested a lot of time. When I got to his house at 1pm, he was WASTED, like stumbling and slurring. I don’t want to disclose anything that could get me into trouble… but he definitely has alcohol use issues. He has a bit of emotional stuff that he has not addressed and I became the outlet/punching bag when drunk and he turned mean. During said drunk reunion (I was sober and trying to get him to bed) he told me he was soooo madly in love with me. I ended up sending a text a few days later ending it and blocking him. He will 100% know who I am but I just wanted others to know that he turns co-dependent putting you in the caregiver role. That’s not what I was looking for and I’m sure not what others are looking for either. He is majorly insecure and is a self-proclaimed ‘nice guy’… ‘everyone loves me’…. ‘I’m the life of every party’.
Positives are: when he’s sober and trying, he’s really kind and sweet. Unfortunately, those moments did not outweigh the others.
