I’m a seasoned mental health therapist, and I still got pulled in by the emotional manipulation. He made me believe what we had was real — something meaningful, deep, and safe. I recently posted my experience on a women-only app, and another woman with a similar professional background reached out — with an almost identical story. He has a pattern, and he clearly has a “type.”
When I posted about him elsewhere, he responded by trying to make it all seem like my fault — classic deflection and denial. Since then, he’s deleted all of his social media accounts, but we all know that won’t last. He will be back under a new name or new story. That’s why I’m sharing this,— because someone else needs to see it before they become the next one.
